On January 7, an international call went out for a week of solidarity with the Wet’suwet’en. People in dozens of cities answered the call. The land defenders at the Unist’ot’en Camp and Gidimt’en Access Point, as well as their supporters, are holding strong as they wait for a looming RCMP invasion of Wet’suwet’en lands. There is still a great need for solidarity actions, and the original callout has now been extended. So if your town hasn’t held a demo or a march yet, or you’ve been inspired by other actions that you’ve seen and want to kick things up a notch … now’s the time.
