    #occupylasvegas is up and functioning. We should be on the strip in a couple of days. This is a town that’s been hit hard by the economic shitstorm. We’ll be talking about how the casinos get 100% returns on their taxes, We’ll be talking about the mining companies wrecking the land and paying zero taxes.
    Our main issue is communicating to the people how these fuckers are screwing us at every turn. We’ll talk about how it effects families, kids, marriages, etc.
    We agree that a national discussion on the issue of capitalism gone crazy is the most important goal.If we can get that much accomplished….by having this issue become the issue that people talk about around the dinner table, at work, or even at parties, then we’ve done a pretty good job.

    Do you have transcripts of your shows? I would like to use more alternative media in my ESL classes as starting points for discussion and it is often helpful for students to be able to see the words while they are listening.

    YouTube’s auto-CC has done a half-assed decent job of grabbing captions automatically. If there’s a way to rip the text, then make minor tweaks to fix spelling errors, this might be one possible route for you?

    Hey Stimulator and all hope there isn’t any bacon here for what I am about to say but I have reason to believe Occupy Los Angeles has been infiltrated and taken over by undercover law enforcement the media tent ran Danny Glover for 60+ hours straight there has been much internal conflict of which anyone who calls out on it is teamed up on and smeared.The marches are nothing more than bike rides now.Much more than as well to put 2 and 2 together.
