On march 15th angry peeps converge in Montréal to denounce police brutality as part of an international day to bring awareness to swiney violence. On that day pigs from all over the joint came to the Quebec city to observe the local coppers show off their crowd control techniques and prove what protesters are trying to highlight. This collaborative video by 99% Media, GAPPA squad and Moise Marcoux-Chabot, provides further evidence that the Montréal popo, could give a flying fuck about the safety of protesters and focuses on their use of so called “less lethal” explosives during demos.

From the YouTube page:

During recent protests, the Montreal police (called SPVM) has used a large number of stun grenades. This crowd dispersal device has become infamous here since the explosion that blew off the eye of a student, Francis Grenier, last spring. The Rubber Ball Blast Grenade (RBBG) is described as a sub-lethal weapon of dispersion. The RBBG’s manufacturer, Defense Technology, states that: “This product may cause serious injury or death to you or others.”
